Mayfield Renewables and MREA Team Up to Educate the Midwest Region’s Solar + Storage Leaders
The Mayfield Renewables team is happy to announce our education partnership with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). As part of this partnership, six of our engineer-led courses are now available on the MREA website, extending access to our technical training to a wider audience within the renewables industry. Collaborating with MREA is an honor, and we hope to continue helping people expand their knowledge alongside them.
About MREA
The Midwest Renewable Energy Association was founded in 1990 following the first Energy Fair, an event that grew out of a small group of renewable energy advocates in Wisconsin. The MREA was later incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. Headquartered in Custer, Wisconsin, the organization now manages educational programs and partnerships across the Midwest, working to expand the reach and adoption of renewable energy.
We are partnering with MREA due to our shared commitment to continuous learning and to sharing expertise to ensure quality, safe solar and storage implementation. We both recognize that a well-trained workforce is essential to the continued growth of the solar and energy storage market. We are proud to bring nearly two decades of experience in solar and storage engineering to MREA’s audience.
Courses
The following six courses now available through MREA’s platform were built around the core competencies that today's developers, EPCs, and engineers must consider for solar, storage, and microgrid design, safety, and fire code compliance. All courses qualify for NABCEP continuing credits.

Our NABCEP-certified courses don't require an MREA membership, but MREA memberships offer many benefits.
