Marketing Associate

We are looking to add a driven marketing professional to our team to ensure our company vision and message is communicated through various media vehicles and programming.

This individual will effectively work with our Marketing Specialist and Head of Growth, as well as collaborate with our SMEs and engineers to deliver on the Mayfield brand as a reputable source providing educational, technical content to the solar and energy storage industry. This person will work closely with the team to align the business vision and mission to outward-facing content and establish sales funnels through said content. A degree of comfort and interest in technical and the solar industry will be helpful to the success of this position. The work is at the confluence of engineering, consulting, strategy, marketing, and sales. The applicant would have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the company's activities including content development for clients as well as education development and marketing promotion more generally.

Overall Responsibilities

Support the execution of monthly and quarterly marketing vehicles, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
Coordinate content calendar plan
Manage monthly content updates (website, blog, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Support industry event activities, providing pre-conference coordination
Gather marketing activities’ monthly analytics data and insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
Align social media and content strategy with our overall marketing goals
Improve SEO/GEO of content across channels
Test and implement Google Ads under guidance where appropriate

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role (including school)
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management, coordination, multi-tasking, and organization skills
Charismatic and outgoing self-starter
Good time management and the ability to self-manage multiple demands
Technically savvy with LinkedIn, Google Suite (Drive, Calendar, Hangouts), Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Monday, Zapier, or similar tools
Positive attitude, willingness to learn new things.

Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to be a key asset to our team of engineers working on solar, solar-plus-storage, and microgrid projects, typically ranging in size from 200kW to 10MW. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed CAD plans for interconnection, permit, and construction documents, ensuring quality while meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Provide electrical engineering support for the engineering team, guiding the development of innovative Solar PV + ESS project designs.
Develop permit, construction drawings and utility interconnection documents using Mayfield’s AutoCAD templates under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
Ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from design to commissioning.
Provide value engineering, optimized system designs, and Client recommendations when appropriate.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in electrical design. (PV+ESS design preferred)
Experienced in low-voltage commercial and industrial system design
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of the NEC/CEC, IFC, UL, IEEE, and utility interconnection standards
Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Professional, proactive, positive communication skills for remote team collaboration.
A growth mindset valuing a continual learning and sharing lessons learned attitude.

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Electrical Professional Engineering (PE) license
Familiarity with energy storage system design, BESS integration, and control strategies.
Proficiency in SKM Power*Tools, ETAP, CYME, or similar electrical design software.

Professional Engineer (Electrical Engineer)

We are currently looking to add an experienced Professional Engineer to our Consulting Engineering team. Mayfield Renewables works with electrical contractors, energy developers, and municipalities, providing engineering services from inception planning, feasibility or power studies to complete permit and construction plan sets, system commissioning and product evaluation, and direct consulting.

Our services focus on the Middle Market (C&I/Small Utility), PV+ESS, and microgrid projects ranging in size from 250kW to 15MW. This role would be a key senior role, mentoring the design engineers, reviewing projects, and providing technical guidance. Experience in complex electrical engineering of solar and storage projects is required. Expertise in power system studies or other consulting engineering services is highly beneficial to provide direct project fulfillment to our clients. This role must be a registered PE able to stamp electrical drawings in key solar states with the ability and desire to gain more states nationwide.
